Planning your honeymoon should feel just as exciting as planning your wedding day itself. After all, this isn’t just another holiday, it’s the first chapter of your life together, and one you’ll remember forever.
Since joining Designer Travel many years ago, I’ve always been passionate about creating unforgettable memories. It’s a part of my role I genuinely love. Having planned my own wedding, I understand just how much detail, time, and emotion goes into getting everything just right. But what I often see is couples pouring all their energy into the big day, while the honeymoon becomes more of an afterthought.
For me, your honeymoon deserves equal attention. Your wedding day is incredible, of course, but it’s one day. Your honeymoon is a week, two weeks, sometimes longer… uninterrupted time to relax, celebrate, and just enjoy being newlyweds. It’s also one of the most memorable trips you’ll ever take, how often do people ask, “Where did you go on honeymoon?”
No two honeymoons are ever the same. Some couples want adventure and culture, others a mix of safari and beach, and some dream of a road trip along California’s Pacific Coast Highway. It’s all about creating something that feels right for you.

Hi. I am Bonni, your own personal travel consultant. I now live on the West Sussex/Surrey border but I was brought up in Spain and moved to the UK in my early twenties when I started working in the City of London as a PA for Managing Director‘s at various investment banks, so my organisational skills are, as you can imagine, impeccable.
When I became a mum I didn‘t want to commute any more so I took a break and then a friend introduced me to the travel industry and I haven't looked back. Combining my love for travel, languages and organisational skills I started a fulfilling and long travel career. I have been very lucky to have travelled on my own and with my family to many places in the world including New Zealand, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Maldives, Canada, Far East, Disneyland, Dubai, Turkey and most of Europe.
I understand how precious family time and holidays are and getting the best that you can for your money.
